Mackenzie Health

Mackenzie Health is a two site hospital consisting of Mackenzie Richmond Hill and Cortellucci Vaughan Hospital, offering a full-service emergency department serving over 200 000 patients/yearly, core services and specialized care. The Oncology Clinic serves 80-100 patients daily, providing clinic follow-ups and infusion treatments. Its multidisciplinary team consists of five medical oncologists, two malignant hematologists, GP psychotherapy/palliative care, pharmacists, oral chemo pharmacist, drug access navigator, nursing staff, and allied health professionals (i.e. SW, dietitian). Over the past four years, the clinic has grown by 20-30%, outpacing similar facilities. It engages in MCC rounds for breast, gastrointestinal, genitourinary, lung, and hematological cancers with Sunnybrook, while external radiation referrals go to Southlake and Sunnybrook.
