Learn about cancer when you are ready with free self-directed online classes. You can log in to Cancer Classes Online anytime, anywhere and learn at your own pace. Share your learning with friends and family.
Do you have questions about cancer? The Princess Margaret has an online search tool called “Cancer Answers” to help you find trusted information.
Virtual Classes for Patients: Clinical Trials 101
This class is for people who want to learn about clinical trials or are interested in oncology (cancer) trials. The class will cover the following topics:
- What are clinical trials?
- Why are clinical trials important?
- Who can take part in clinical trials?
- What can you expect if you take part in a clinical trial?
- Is a clinical trial right for you?

The end of treatment is not always a clean break from the effects cancer had and continues to have on patients and caregivers. Getting Back on Track was built based on the research and feedback that on the needs of survivors after treatment.
The AYA Program provides personalized, supportive care related to concerns common to young adults with cancer. These concerns include fertility, sexual health, school and work concerns, peer support, and wellness.
The ELLICSR Kitchen supports cancer survivors with the culinary skills and nutrition resources necessary to support healthier eating practices and to help better manage some of the side effects of cancer or cancer treatment that make it hard to eat well.
Princess Margaret Caregiver Education, Support & Skills Program
Caring for a family member with cancer can be extremely stressful. Research studies have shown that family caregivers often report the same emotional distress as cancer patients themselves, if not more. It was created to provide clinical care, research and education to meet the needs of family caregivers.
